Desert Encrypt Vol. II Festival in Marfa, TX July 26-28!!!

DESERT ENCRYPTS Vol. II

We’re incredibly excited to once again make our way out to Marfa, TX in a few weeks for DESERT ENCRYPTS VOL. II. It will take place once again at the Crowley Theater in Marfa, TX from July 26-28, 2019.

Rob Mazurek has once again put together an absolutely amazing quartet featuring Berlin-based visual artist ROSA BARBA, drummer extraordinaire (and only returning member besides Mazurek from Desert Encrypts Vol 1) CHAD TAYLOR, as well as Berlin-based electronic artist JAN ST WERNER (Mouse on Mars, Von Sudenfed, Lithops, Microstoria) who has been at the forefront of forward thinking electronic music for 20+ years. Also excited that JOHN CORBETT will be in Marfa for the festivities and giving a lecture/reading on his most recent book as well! More info on the entire festival here via Marfa Book Co.. I’d highly recommend making the trip if you can, it’s a truly incredible experience!

We are also incredibly excited to repeat our duties as resident DJ at the Hotel St. George for the afterparty both Friday & Saturday evenings and we’re even more excited to have great friend & artist CRAIG CLOUSE (Shit & Shine, USA/Mexico, Todd) joining us on DJ duties!

AND to top things off the afterparties will also serve as the “Record Release” show for Mazurek’s DESERT ENCRYPTS VOL. 1 CD, which is officially out August 16th BUT if you make it to Marfa you can get your hands on a copy early!!
